David Griebner, Senior Pastor

David Griebner has been a United Methodist pastor for over thirty years, the last seventeen at Riverside UMC. David and his wife Sande have three daughters, one in grad school, one in college, and one in high school.

David longs to lead people to embrace faith in Jesus, and to grow in their faith under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. He shepherds the church to live this out in worship, small groups, and service to the world.

Pete Snook, Associate Pastor

Pastor Norman "Pete" Snook joined the RUMC staff in 1998 as a part time associate after retiring from active ministry. He serves in general ministry with a focus on teaching, visitation and pastoral care. He and Nancy are happy to be part of the Riverside faith community. They are parents of three adult children: Leslie, Melanie and Timothy. Pete's 42 years of active service were split between university ministry, mostly at OSU, and parish ministry in Pennsylvania and Ohio. They bring added support to the growing staff of Riverside Church.

April Blaine, Associate Pastor

April is in her sixth year in ministry at Riverside UMC.  This May, she will graduate from seminary at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio after 5 long years!  Her primary responsibilites at Riverside are youth ministry, assisting with preaching, meeting with the senior staff, and facilitating the worship planning team.  April has been happily married to Martin for nearly 8 years.  They have 2 dogs: Jax & one-eyed Peaches.  They are both originally from Arkansas and have slowly been adjusting to Ohio's winters!

April is especially interested in creative and innovative worship, empowering young people into positions of leadership, and helping the church re-imagine ways that it can continue to be relevant and effective in the changing world.
