The Child Care Center at Riverside United Methodist Church offers full-time childcare for infants through children in kindergarten.

The center is sponsored by Riverside United Methodist Church, and is operated on a non-profit basis. Riverside Child Care is designed to be a fellowship arm of the church in Upper Arlington and surrounding communities. Licensed by the Ohio Department of Human Services, the center complies with state laws and regulations regarding child-care facilities.

Riverside Child Care recognizes the home as the primary factor in a child's development, and it is the goal of the program to supplement the care of the child when she or he is away from home by facilitating the child's maximum development. The center meets the needs of each child by providing an environment that supports physical, emotional, and cognitive needs. Each child is encouraged to share, to take turns, and to respect the rights of others.

The center provides both quiet and active play. Large and small muscle activities, art projects, music and rhythms, opportunities for dramatic play, story times, science exploration, and outdoor play enhance the daily lives of the children at Riverside.

The center is governed by a Board composed of both church and non-church members. The Child Care Center at Riverside is open to all in the community, and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
